2021 Kia Seltos S - does it have wireless Android Auto capability?

We just got a Seltos S 2 days ago and are loving it so far, but I'm having difficulty getting the Android Auto to work with my USB cords. Ordered a nice Anker USB cord from Amazon and will try that. But I saw that with Android 11, wireless Android Auto will work with cars that are enabled for it, and I was wondering if the 2021 Kia Seltos S is enabled for it? Under WiFi Settings, there's a checkbox for "Use Wi-Fi for Phone Projection" which makes me think the car is enabled for it (see attached photo), but the Seltos isn't listed on this list of cars that support wireless Android Auto:

It seems like every Kia except Seltos is on there.

Also, does the Bluetooth alone recognize voice commands for making phone calls in your Seltos? In my car it says the Android Auto is the only thing that will recognize voice commands, but I've seen a 2021 Seltos S advertised with "Bluetooth wireless technology w/voice recognition."

I wish we had wireless apple carplay/android auto. I rented a Palisade and i love it for that reason.
My Seltos S has wireless Apple Carplay. There an icon on the home page that walks you through the wireless operation.
I'll have my Android phone back tomorrow. I will let you know.

Thanks!
Yes, I can confirm that it does have wireless Android Auto as well. All you have to do is connect via bluetooth and it will ask if you want to enable AA.

I have a Seltos S and AA is not available. I wasn't even able to find the wifi settings. Can you explain how can you use AA wireless? Thanks in advance

It's an option I believe. It doesn't come standard. I didn't do anything with Wifi settings.
I'm just curious as to those who have a Seltos S, 8 inch screen, without navigation, but with wireless AA or Carplay. What are your model, SW version, and firmware versions?

US Seltos S here.
Model = SP2N195.DVAMN.F1US
SW Ver. = SP2.USA.D2V.001.002.200122
Firmware Ver. = SP2.USA.V116.191018

My wired Android Auto experiences frequent dropped connections no matter the quality of the cable. The same phone connected to other vehicles with AA has no dropped connections. I was hoping a wireless AA would be an improvement of sorts.

Same firmware here. Same problem.
BTW, there is a newer US software and firmware version that includes wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay for the 8" infotainment in the Seltos S models. Maybe this version has fixed the dropped wired connections as well. Another odd occurrence is that when I use the wired Android Auto in my Seltos, I generally need to re-pair my phones bluetooth connection afterwards. Overall, it's a PIA.

Here's the versions that are known to have the wireless AA and CP:
Model = SP2N195.DVAMN.F1US
SW Ver. = SP2.USA.D2V.001.003.201028
Firmware Ver. = SP2.USA.V148.200703

How do you find and download the update files? All I can find is the tool to download and update NAV systems. Needless to say that did not work. Please don't tell me I have to go to the damn stealership and pay them to install a file I could easily install myself..
So far, I don't believe that its available anywhere for download. I'm currently trying to get the update files through my Kia dealership, but so far have not had any luck. :(
From what I've read online, even if Seltos S has wireless AA, and even if you have Android 11, your phone (and the head unit in the car) must support 5 GHz Wi Fi, and I think my phone only supports 2.4 GHz even though it's basically a new phone I bought in December (Xiaomi Redmi 9A). I'm assuming the head unit supports 5 GHz.

"But Android 11 support for Android Auto wireless comes with a few requirements: you need to have both a phone and Android Auto head unit that supports 5GHz Wi-Fi. If you live in Japan or Russia, you won’t have access as Google says those territories do not support Android Auto’s wireless feature. Even in the EU, there are additional requirements; Google says Android phones in the EU that use 5GHz Wi-Fi in the car must “comply with additional regulatory requirements,” but we’re not quite sure what that means for you."
I've had difficulty making the wireless connection. I have poor 5G coverage near my home. I'm going to drive to a better location then try again.

I assume that the "Navigation Update" on the Kia site is an overall SW update....?
I was told when I bought the car that only Apple was wireless. Android users would have to plug in. I have not updated my system because I don't want to lose the 3 split screen so it may have been updated.
