2022 Seltos vs 2021 Seltos

I had test driven 2021 Seltos, but purchased 2022 Seltos EX canada version.
I feel there are lots of improvements in 2022 model.

1. Driving pleasure is better in 2022
2. Cabin Noise decreased (Not sure if it is due to the noise cancellation update in the Radio system)
3. Sound system is better
4. Better stability
5. Wireless Apple airplay

Interesting you say those things:

Point 1 and 4 - Both about driving; however, none of the mechanics have changed.

Point 5 - that model has Wireless AppleCarPlay in both the 2021 and 2022 versions.

Point 3 - sound system didn’t change.

The only thing I can’t speak to is the road noise - which there may have been changes; however, none identified for road noise from manufacturing.

Did the brand/type of tires possibly change between years?
That mighgt be one explanation for noise change, but all very subjective.

I dont have a clue either.
Possibly the test drive vehicle that I drove in 2021 was not maintained / tuned properly.
But I got the same feedback from couple of others as well, so it might have influenced.

Or Might be the shock observer vendor changed for the newer version.
Just to add: I purchased both the 2021 Seltos S & SX Turbo and found that there's a huge driving/handling between the S & SX. SX had much better ride and handling than the S. This wasn't just a test drive, I owned the S for 4 months, then traded it in on the SX and had the SX ever since. For the 2022, I hope they improved and smoothed out the Dual Clutch. Didn't find any difference between the S & SX for the noise problem, hopefully they improved it on the 2022.
Although I have not owned or drive the S, I think the tires, wheel size and suspension make a big difference. I find the SX ride to be fairly quiet and comfortable overall.

There's a difference in the rear suspension between FWD and AWD versions. The FWD has a torsion beam rear suspension and AWD models have a multilink independent rear suspension, which should really help with control on bumpy surfaces. From looking at the parts catalog, there's also a difference in springs and dampers between the SX/turbo and non-turbo editions.
