I bought it in June 2020 and at the time, they were not price gouging. It was listed at $30,000. I got it down to $27,300.. With all the goodies, including winter mats. Ordered it in April. At that time I grabbed one of the few White one, and they searched the whole country for the cherry black roof. None to be found. Came with a sun roof though. Can't get them with a different painted roof.

I read a recent article saying that eight out of the top ten cars selling for the most over MSRP were Hyundai and Kia, and the Seltos was listed as going 19% over MSRP within the United States. We have a deal with two dealers, each for $2k over MSRP so we're doing much better than typical. I was kidding with my wife that we should just buy both vehicles when they are delivered and sell one of them for a profit!
We ordered mid-February and no word on the factory accepting the order yet so we're still at least six weeks from getting our SX. We have a long road trip planned for August and at this point don't believe we will get our Seltos in time. We were going to place an order for another vehicle but was told not to expect it until early 2023 so that's possibly even worse.
Our local dealer sells for MSRP here in Saskatoon. I haven't run across any dealer gouging in our local area, but CDN regs are probably different in that regards...used vehicles, on the other hand, are seeing crazy markups.
We put our order in for our SX in Mid-march and there was no indication that there would be any issues other than a 3 month wait. Just waiting for a VIN to drop and then we will know it's in production.

I researched buying a Seltos about three months ago and found that a great majority of the dealers were adding $2000 to $5000 (including one dealer adding $10000) to the MSRP. I finally found a dealer in Colorado (Fowler Kia) who sold me one for MSRP and waited just one month. I just found another one for my brother in Minnesota for MSRP (they did add a couple of options) and he picked it up within 3 days.

At this point, we've ordered our SX in mid-February and the factory has not picked up our order for production. We also got guarantees of paying $2k over MSRP which is good because new orders are now for more than that. If I could find a dealer that would be willing to sell at MSRP and had what we wanted, I'd fly there to buy it but I've searched all over the western US and haven't been able to find any such dealer.

I bought mine used about 6 months ago It had 5k miles on it when I bought it. I found it in the local classified. The lady I bought it from ordered it, when her new bronco came in she put it up for sale.

I have the sunroof on my 2021 sx. Overrated! In my opinion. Too much wind noise. It was already on the vehicle so that's why I have it.I wish I had a Sunroof

Ha same here, but a mouse got into it and jambed it had to completely replace it, so it cost an extra $400 and another $500 for insurance repairs, so I have a $900. sun roof I didn't need UGH
