I just picked up my car last night. Cherry Black with Plum interior (amazing combo!). This is my first car that i've ever bought so I am excited to make the most of it. I have a few question, if anyone could provide some insight.
1. How do I preform a software update? Is this something I can do myself or do I need to go to the dealer?
2. Has anyone used a tune chip in their 1.6L? If so, what chip and how did it work?
3. Is the dual clutch transmission jerky? I feel it most in a sharper turn.
Excited to join the group and can't wait for many fun years ahead!

Updates are done at the dealer.
If you chip your car if one is available you will void your warranty.
I have heard from previous posters it can be. I think they said there is also an update from the dealer to correct that.

You can do the updates (for dash software and Nav system) via USB. There is an app you can download from the Kia Website.
The transmission confuses me lots. Sometimes it is smooth and quick shifting like butter. Other times (when I’m in slower speeds) it can be jerky.
