2021 Kia Seltos, 11 months old, 15,000 miles.. driving along when all dash board lights lit up. Drives okay.. took to dealer this morning and on the way of course lights went out.. Dealer checked and said codes in computer but have no solution and are awaiting tech support which could take days. Anyone else run across this happening ?

Happened once - when the Seltos was exactly 2000 mile past the recommended service interval set in the system. At 65 MPH on the freeway this is not the best time to have something similar happen. All the dash warning lights flashed, gauges went to maximum range, to zero and then back to current state. The only reason I didn't panic was the service interval. Hasn't happened since.

Old school , three oil changes in 15,000 miles,
so Like you knew I was okay.. Exactly 1 yr ago my 2016 Kia Soul warning lights came on, went into limp mode, engine started making noise.. Kia grounded my Soul and I was 1 week from our trip to Florida, no fix so I was kinda forced into this Kia Seltos De Ja Vu

Happened to me as well back in February on my SX. Kia couldn’t diagnose it as they couldn’t find the codes (their recording system in the Seltos is practically useless).

I was at 80mph on the highway when it happened and I lost engine power. Still had braking and was next to an exit so I pulled off and called a flatbed.

No explanation, no resolution. Then it happened a second time at maybe 30mph in town in the beginning of March. Threw it on a flatbed again, same deal. No one has ever been able to explain it to me or even tell me it won’t continue to happen.

My 2021 SX Turbo came on when the Lane assist kept coming on at the slightest turns. Then all my warning lights came on. I drove straight to the dealer that day. Found out it was a grounding wire issue. They removed the lug and then scrapped the paint off the body where the connection was. Never came back.

Maybe the ABS wire or a wheel speed sensor.

On our way from Minnesota to Idaho, our 2021 Seltos SX Turbo threw a P023600 engine code, which was something in the engine control module. The car had 19,000 miles on it and we've never had an issue until this. I called the KIA dealer in Blilings, MT and explained the situation and the service writer recommended coming in so they could check it out. As we drove, all if the warning lights came on and it appeared that the car went into limp (safe) mode. We pulled into Forsyth, MT and called Kia roadside service but AAA was able to get there sooner. Our Seltos got some of it's best fuel mileage riding on the back of a flatbed tow truck for over 100 miles to the dealer in Billings. Upon our arrival, the car had no codes and ran fine! They suspected the turbo boost sensor but there were no parts available. So, we took our car back and returned to Minnesota with some anxiety, but the car ran flawlessly. Thanks to Kia's Customer Service and the people at Rimrock VW/Kia in Billings.Hopefully we won't experience anything like that again!

Another interesting thing, when the dealer performed our 18,000 mile service check, they recommended changing the engine air filter, but they had none in stock. No one that I can find has an aftermarket filter for a 2021 Seltos SX Turbo! I called Kia Parts, and there were 13 filters in the entire U.S., so I have my name on one. Let's Go Brandon!
