I want to adjust the aim of the LED headlight of my 2021 SX down and slightly to the right. During my recent trip, at night, most of the oncoming drivers on a divided highway, flick their lights on me because they are blinded with my headlight (on low beam). Does anyone know how to adjust the aim? I read through the maintenance section of the owners manual but no luck.

Thanks in advance.

There is a phillips screw attached to the adjuster in back of the headlight housing. It is about dead center and towards the outer part of the car..It will adjust the up and down line of the lights but I don't see one for the left to right adjustment..This is on my non led Ex model so it may be the same for the factory LEDs.It's not unusual to get flashed as a lot of people do not like the brightness of the factory LED.It has happened to me in some of my cars but I left them to the factory aiming.

Thanks. I’ll look for it and make the adjustment. We’ll see.
I adjusted the aim tonight. It turned out that number 12 mm wrench will do instead of a stub Phillips screwdriver. I dropped the 12mm wrench down the nooks and crannies and I was not able to retrieve it. It’s nowhere to be found. So be careful not to drop your adjusting tool.

Anyway, I now understand why drivers were flashing on me. The aim was high and the illumination is bright towards the left. I had to turn the adjuster several times to bring down the aim, especially the driver side headlight. Now, I need to bring the bright LED illumination of the driver side headlight from the left to the right onto the perfect spot on the road, not to the left shoulder of the highway.

Does anyone know where the horizontal adjuster is?

Thanks.

I would take it back to the dealer and have them do it. They are supposed to be aimed at the factory

I have a 2020 awd Seltos with led lights all round. There is a small turn-wheel on lowe right dash (rt hand drive car New Zealand) with numbers 0 to 3. 0 setting is for only passengers in front. If the car is loaded with weight in back (passengers, luggage, trailer) the headlights will shine higher, so turn the wheel toward 3 to lower the beam. If headlights are too high at 0 take it to dealer as this is not a thing you should do diy. My headlights can also be adjusted for driving on the other side of the road which you would use if taking the car from UK to Europe but its an under hood manual adjustment. Cheers
