With just the setup like i have in the previous post, i havent got the tubes or heat shield yet. Well imho there is no more argument for a bov!! The 3/4 tube coming off the stock bov is positioned very close to the air intake filter. This actually results in a very audible shoosh! With the new cone style filter cold air intake not only did i have the benefits of the unrestricted intake, the noise was clear and obvious irl, i hope they came through clearly in the attached video and sound file. It actually shooshs more’ in normal mode? Seems as though the bov is in half open mode nearly the whole time in normal mode.

so bov ?? Not for me! I like the shoosh. i dont want that overly loud obviously annoying fake bov sound...

DEFINITELY not worth the trouble!!
The baffle delete was easy.. clip a few clamps, pop in new and done.. but!
As u will see in the pics. The old baffle wassnt obscured or obstructed in any way.. so i highly doubt a straight pipe is gonna make any diff.

Grab just the CAI k&n drop in. And I just literally disconnected the top of the air filter and put it on just to see size and fit for 28$.. and now i found a shroud for 50$ and some tubing that should fit.. overall 78$ and if it all fits I’ll let u know.
Do you happen to have the k&n part number for the universal filter?
