Considering a 2023 Seltos

I drove a Soul a few years back and they're a nice enough car, but AWD is huge plus for the winters we tend to get up here which put the Soul out of contention for any serious consideration...Plus, the wife hated the look of it...lol.
While I can't really compare the Seltos and the Soul (with a few years having passed between driving one), I can say that I really do like the way the Seltos drives. It's comfortable on long trips and I don't even mind the DCT transmission in my SX which seems to be a point of contention for more than a few.
Your best bet is to drive one and compare with what you have to determine your wants, needs, and impressions.

Go for the Seltos! That's if you can find one. I've had two of them. Model S & SX Turbo. I currently own the SX Turbo. I STRONGLY suggest to get the SX Turbo, not the S model.

Although money is a consideration, the SX Turbo was a great value. Of course I bought mine in 2020 when COVID had just hit so prices were low. No premiums at that time. having driven the Seltos for two years now as well as a few rentals in between for work, the Seltos is still the best bet in my opinion.
