Hey folks new this forum. I purchased a Kia seltos SX back in April. It's been good so far not too many issues. Some of you maybe aware but Canada is in a bit of a deep freeze right now. Where I'm at got as low as -41c wind chill of -52c last week. Today is -30c feels like -40c.
There's this creaking sound when I drive. It creaks when I go over a small patch of ice or a bump in the road. I personally have never heard this before in a car. If I had to guess maybe the struts are stiff? I checked for ice/snow build up in the wheel wells but there is not a whole lot there. It's happened twice now in the deep freeze. I took a video and showed my dealership but they said it'd be hard to pin point via video. And of course when I'm back home it doesn't make that sound so taking it to the dealership has proven not so helpful.
So my question is has anyone else encountered this? It goes away at -20. Maybe it's a design flaw? Just looking for opinions, cheers!
