Nice! I have the mud flaps...thought about changing the emblems, which ones did u get and how did it turn out? Im afraid some of the aftermarket ones look cheep...the stock ones fit my color scheme but wouldnt mind ones with a lil red in them to accent the red on wheels...letting everyone know its a turbo! Lol anyway...were the cup liners the carbon fiber inserts ? How do they look and did they fit just right... I know u can get them for front cups and back holders too. Thanks for the info....much love, have a blessed day!

I’m always on the lookout for minor modifications myself. I don’t like cars that go WAY overboard though. The appeal of the original design seems to get lost. I think the Seltos has quite a bit more style, flare, and personality than the competition as they come. Especially as you move up the trim levels. Once I get my window visors on, I don’t think I will do much else. Maybe a sunroof deflector and/or a hood deflector. Though I am not sure I like the look of the hood deflector style on the Seltos.

Aside from my mud guards, I currently don’t have any exterior mods. As much as I enjoy the machined aluminum wheels with the red center cap accent. I am hoping they come out with black wheel-skins/wheelcovers for the Seltos someday. The car seems to be too new at this time.

The all weather mats are a must have for the interio- for me. Mine actually came with the car which was a nice surprise, as they were not indicated on the sticker. This tray for the armrest storage is a must...everyone should get this.

Though I don’t have any other major plans, I do absolutely love this modified Seltos the most of any I have seen. Would look great in a fun color too!

I’ve been kinda looking at the carbon interior trim pieces. Thinking they would go a little longer in between wipe downs compared to the glossy black.

Honestly the fake exhaust look on the rear bumper is my least favorite part of the car. I considered putting some vinyl wrap on it, but I only have the car for three years so I’m just gonna deal with it.

Seltos goes in on Wednesday morning for front and rear dashcam hardwire + my Uniden R7 radar detector. I got a blendmount for the RD and it looks really nice - right on the bottom of the rearview mirror. I have a separate thread for that so I’ll put pics in there when I get it back.

I was looking at a few of the carbon fiber interior pieces as well. They would likely show less fingerprints while protecting the piano black from scratches. Just my opinion though, I think the carbon fiber look is rather dated and slightly out of place in the urban SUV look of the Seltos. I wish there were another option out there..

Yeah, people don’t seem to be big fans of fake exhaust design. This is actually an element that I don’t mind. When I look at it, I don’t see an attempt to mimic fake vents, I just see a design element- purely. It kind of mimics the straight lines and slightly boxy (in a good way) design elements for me. While you may not love it, there are probably other people on the road thinking ”look at how sharp that looks!” :)

We all certainly have our own taste though!

Good to know it doesn’t look bad to everyone. I definitely don’t want the car to look like I did that myself...

Nice to see another S Turbo in the forums! We absolutely love the car! My wife didn’t want leather, powered seats or the push to start so the S Turbo was the perfect model for us.

Definitely want to get the window visors. The hood deflector is definitely not something I’d want on my car as it’s super awkward the way it fits a quarter up the hood. I was looking at the mud flaps but I honestly don’t think the Kia ones actually do anything. They seem to be way to small for any functionality. I’m waiting for weather tech or some other company to come out with bigger ones. Our Seltos did not come with floor mats at all which was a shocker, but I purchased the all weather ones from the parts department for $130 which I don’t think was a bad deal. I also purchased the rear cargo tray as well to keep the rear carpet protected.

Yeah- the hood deflector looks really weird to me for the same reason- placement. I suppose it’s to preserve visibility of the KIA emblem... but it just doesn’t work overall.

True, the KIA mud guards are rather small indeed. I bought them anyway because I’m rather impatient. Ha!

Funny story: Shortly after I got my vehicle, I thought the lower body cladding needed a little something extra. I also saw this picture that inspired me..

So I bought these chrome moldings which took about a month to get to me from China. By the time they got to me, I decided I liked having just the gloss black accent.. Also, I didn’t realize right off that the Seltos has brushed aluminum accents rather than cheap looking chrome. Throwing these shiny chrome moldings on the lower body cladding probably wouldn’t look right!

So they are currently sitting in my closet (never opened) and will likely never touch my car. Haha!

Hey there! I Hyper Dipped all of my chrome emblems and I will be installing the K-Lexus 3.0 Carbon Fibre front and rear badges one of these nights. Thinking of also Hyper Dipping the long silver piece on the trunk.

I will post some pictures when I get it all done.

FYI - For those of you who don't know, Hyper Dip is PlastiDip's newest product and its amazing! Emblems came out smooth and not lumpy like the original PlastiDip.

Personally, I like the brushed aluminum look, but I was thinking about changing to the K emblems. How do they come off?

The front emblem can be removed with some heat from a heat gun and dental floss but the rear is screwed in. You need to remove the black plastic trunk lid cover from the inside to get to it. It's a bit of a process but worth it!

MY FIRST POST; stereo upgrade(Pioneer A652C component speakers/front doors/ Infinity Ref 6532ix 2-ways rear doors; AudioControl LC7i; Alpine 4ch amp A32F S-Series 55RMS/Ch.; JBL BassPro Nano, got what I wanted Scorps/ACDC" cranked to 35-wise"-pro install for all but the speakers=$1,650 US(they removed the air vents 'neath front seats and LC7i is under pass. seat, the ALP/JBL amps were placed under the drivers' seat). Full-size spare fits w/ room to spare, Platinum Flux Chromes shortly, $900 clear bra, Well-Visor 4pc. vent visors( front's fit perfect, must remove tape off of rearward-most rear pieces' ENDS ONLY(2 1/4" worth) or will stick to the small rearward-most non-functioning side glass-I reported this to the co./sent pics/they are aware, fed me this info: wheelbase/ overseas Seltos are 1/2" longer is the issue/design glitch, suede-look dash mat, stick-on chrome look door handles, blk&blue wheelskin, console drop-in tray, sport pedal kit for $22.44, OEM mudguards(rip-off/$97), K&N air filter,. Please note: I am Kia/Hyundai nut, have '19 G70 and my new Seltos(traded in '18 Santa Fe on 11-18)..the wheels that go on a Seltos are 17x7.5 5x114.3(if yours are 17not18) and an example would be the Drag 77 virtual chrome or the chrome Drag-34. I'm yarding the Platinum Fluxes off of my G70, replacing those w/ Dr-77's then having the PlatFlux installed on my new Cherry Black on Black Seltos "S". Some online dealers may debate fitment due to non-current info, but that 114.3 bolt pattern goes on BEAUCOUP GEN/HYU/KIA units and I oughta know, having bought 50 cars since 1996-the bulk of them G/H/K. Hope these ideas give you sustenance for deliberation, stay safe/mask up, and peace on earth to all.

I have the Loden overlay 7pc. set inbound w/the following caveat: all pcs 'cept the REAR emblem overlay are fine fitment-wise, in perhaps a month the rear will be sent to me when KDM gets'em. I prefer the overlays vs. replacing the entire emblem but caution you to buy best -quality product of which there is plenty but that 140MM rear one is problematic @ this time. My cost was $66.59, and because I am putting after-market wheels on I'll have to whip out the 3m#06386 in order to properly attach wrong-for-the-wheel center caps -I have done this numerous times w/flawless success re: "stickability" of the overlay or emblem to the center cap, just have to "build up" the 3m to ensure solid contact..

Came across this photo without the fake exhaust look. There is definitely something to be said for it...it actually does look rather nice! Oh well..

Identical story re:4pc. mudguard set-instead of going knock-off for 36-ish, paid 97 because I didn't wish to wait for weeks and the funny thing is I have got sport pedals (22.40) from Korea and an (18.40) console tray from China for instance and only took about 2wks max to get'em..true story : the only G70 vent-visor set which is currently known to mankind is retailed out from Russia and I got mine in four(4) months. My cars don't even leave my crib for 4-6 weeks because I get them dialed in to my tastes before I'll cruise 'em(except to drive to the audio install place, or the clear bra place, or the tire/wheel place, my Seltos doesn't leave the garage 'til it's road ready: 165 miles on it and bought it 11-18, it's 12-21 as I write this..all prices I ever list BTW are tax included(10%) and USD
