Which plate did you bought? Same for the resonator delete?

Resonator delete (very big mod for spool noises but I also deleted all the OEM piping POST filter box.

Anyway resonator delete I BELIEVE was sxth or whatever the company name is.

But SXTH or TORK or any other decent one will do.

Plz get T-bolt clamps also... dont be cheap.

And for the DV block off I BELIEVE it was the 2.0T Genesis one.

ok so I found the Tork pipe and the SXTH pipe but can't seem to find any DV block plate. Do you have a link?

For the lazy, here's the link for the resonator delete:

@SeltosSX @MajorTK anyone have confirmation of Seltos fit for these last two posts of parts..(blowoff plate, and resonator delete) since they are listed for different models.?
Ill receive the plate friday, will probably install next week. I will update the post to confirm if it fitted or not. Will also try to take pictures.

The resonator delete "should" fit, Hyundai/Kia have putted that resonator on all their turbo engines. The res delete is a simple straight pipe, as long as the Seltos has the resonator and same tubing diameter I dont see why it wouldn't fit. Once I can find that part for a resonable price, Ill also post here.

The universal blowoff plate listed on this thread will fit the 1.6T in the Seltos, but you'll need longuer bolt. You'll need 3x M6x1.0x40mm bolt. You'll also have to figure a way to block the pipe going to the intake. I'll try to post a DIY, but it's actually not so bad to do if you have a lift or at least can work from under the car.

K5 Optima sells a direct kit to wont require longuer bolts, and will probably be easier to install since you'll have much more clearance. Kia & Hyundai 1.6T BOV Sound Plate

If you have any other question, let me know!

You’re losing power in order to make noise? I don’t get why this is being done. These engines aren’t designed to VTA. After that throttle plate closes, diverter valve is supposed to be sending that extra compressed air back into the intake stream. Your MAF is calculating based off the intake charge, which it now believes is more air than the engine really has. Pre-turbo was metered, and now it’s gone. So by blocking your DV from recycling air, you’re having the MAF calculate an unnecessary rich mixture, losing power. I wouldn’t be surprised if this throws CEL.

These cars aren’t running even close to enough power for this to be considered a reasonable change. If a DV wasn’t able to handle a hypothetical situation with increased boost, sure, but this is silly. You sound faster but move slower.
