My 2021 Seltos has a front plate and it does not hinder at all with any of the sensors. That said, I have never been happy with the fact that KIA did not actually allow for front plates in the car's design. Mine is just screwed in to the bumper!

Are you sure Speed..? That looks to me to be where the number plate is supposed to go - aren't the sensors like that yellow circle set into the right bumper, to the left of your red circle..?
Positive, that's the radar sensor panel. The circle to the left is a pop out to install (screw in) a tie down or recovery hook.
If you look on the colour bumper portion below the radar panel (on a vehicle without a front plate), there are two slight indents that the plate holder screws into.

Alternatively, you can always purchase something like this from eBay (or somewhere else) that uses the previously mentioned tow hook adaptor spot to mount a plate holder.

Well...buggerme...who knew..? I see there's quite a bit of difference between the front treatments of our Aussie versions compared to the North American versions. You seem to have a sloping front guard that tends to suggest it has a better entry angle, and therefore a bit more off-roady. This came up previously when an Aussie buyer was wishing ours were like that. Whether it makes a real difference it moot I guess - looks can be deceptive. So, although there are two small round inserts either side of my number plate, which are clearly sensors, that bigger one is a blank, eh..? And therefore that black mat rectangular thing just under my number plate/bumper is my forward auto autonomous brake sensor..?

Correct on all counts.
It should also be noted that we don’t get the small distance sensors in the bumper here in NA.

My plate came screwed on from the dealer.... And agreed, with certain snow/ice conditions, the radar won't work without clearing it off.

I wasn't happy about that either. So I decided to not put my front plate on. 😝

Don't blame KIA. All the manufacturers are the same. License plate sizes differ depending on location. In some places the front plate isn't required by law, in others they are. North America uses one size of license plate while the EU uses another. What KIA has done here isn't unusual. They have the 'pilot' holes for where to attach the plate bracket. The bracket differs from market to market.
This is the norm. Probably with all manufacturers. I haven't confirmed it with KIA, but my Suzuki's from 1993 and 2003 were identical. Two little divots where the bracket screws in. With Suzuki, there are bolts in the plastic beneath those divots so its not like they're just being screwed into plastic alone. I would assume KIA is the same.

If your dealer didn't use the pilot holes, well ... that's on your dealer.

Now ... that all being said, looking at the vehicles of @peter47 and @dougt. Your dealers are ass clowns. This is what a reputable dealer does. They mount the 50 cent bracket for the appropriate sized plate (NA/EU/wherever). Maybe it's just an illusion that they look to be screwed directly to the bumper, hopefully there is a bracket behind those plates.
