Hello everyone,

I was running a cable for my dashcam the other day and once I got to the passenger side, I opened up my glovebox compartment just to see how I would route it to the middle console and such. What I did notice after I opened my glovebox is that there are two gaps on either side that gave me the impression that it was cracked. I contacted my dealer to ask about it and at first he asked me to bring it in the following day, but then followed up with an email saying that those are normal as the cabin filter is behind it, so the gaps are on purpose so they can access it.

It still kinda left me with a doubtful feeling, I was wondering if other great owners would be able to check theirs and confirm with me if that's the case? I'm attaching some images to show what I'm referring to. You can somewhat see towards the edge that there is a crack/gap going down the side, on both ends.

I have the same gaps, looks identical to yours. I think they are manufactured in to facilitate removal.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look and reply! The dealer for some reason kinda ignored that I asked to see another Seltos, but they did have a service technician come to my car to inspect it, it just didn't inspire much confidence haha. They also look kinda rough which made me doubt that they were on purpose.
