Hi!

As of 2 days ago, I'm the new owner of a '22 SX Turbo in Snow White Pearl. I was originally shopping for a Hyundai Kona. During my search I discovered the Seltos and absolutely loved it! My search was painful because of the lack of vehicles currently available. Originally, my color pick was the two-tone white w/black roof, but all the Wisconsin dealers I talked to said they weren't expecting any until late summer. I just couldn't wait that long! After seeing the pearl white, I'm very happy with it. Mine also has the plum seating option which, after seeing it online, I wasn't sure about. Once I saw it in person I thought it added a very nice touch to the interior. For a smaller SUV there is sure an amazing amount of passenger/cargo space! Very pleased!

I'm still working my way through the setting to get it set up just how I like it. One thing I have to figure out is "passive locking". My last vehicle - '16 Chevy Cruze Limited LTZ RS - would automatically lock about 5 seconds after the last door closed. I would never even think about locking it. Just walk away & it would lock automatically without fail. Is this possible with the Seltos?

I want to give my vehicle - his name is Trent, by the way (feel free to ask) - some small personal touches on the exterior. I've ordered a brushed stainless steel license plate frame (to match the brushed trim), and I'm wanting to either paint my brake calipers or get caliper covers for it. I don't like gaudy overdone vehicles with too much customization, but I want it to look a little different. You know... make it my own. Any ideas or photos of your customizations are 100% welcomed!

Your body side moldings add to the contrasting look, which I like. My only concern with actually painting the calipers is whether or not it might affect warranty if I had a brake issue. I’ve painted calipers on two other vehicles, but both had expired warranties, so it wasn’ta concern.
