Hi, Dave fro CT. bought a SX turbo loaded (retiring)
Things I don't like
1. resets AUTO SHUT OFF every time you start it. Can't disable it. ugh
2. needs better programing for cruise control, down shifts at the slightest upgrade
3. Oil change interval resetting..?
4. I'm 5'9" and seat shorter than anything I have owned by 1-2 inches, not as comfortable as I hoped.
5. no rear washer fluid set up and here in the winter, rear window is a mess, quickly.

Things I love about it.
1. Bose system.
2. quieter them my last sedan. -> Nissan Altima
3. I sit higher
4. AWD never had one before and it's great in snow, even with these all season tires. (so far)
5.overall quality of the car AND dollar for dollar, nothing beats it and I did LOTs of research... the more I driver it, the more I love it and its' styling. lot of compliments

Nice! I do love the way the white looks on the Seltos. I'd agree that most vehicles seem to have some things that aren't quite there but maybe I can help with a couple of these. As far as the service interval settings I'm able to change mine by doing the following: on the infotainment system screen Click on Setup - then Vehicle - then Cluster, you should see an option for service interval, click on that and you should be able to set it to whatever you want it to be. I'm also curious about the rear washer fluid as I have an SX Turbo as well and it will do rear washer fluid. On the wiper control lever I just have to push it towards the dash to use the rear washer or pull it toward me for front washer fluid. I DO NOT have the sunroof option and maybe that affects that? Would be weird but I suppose possible. Possibly they'll update the cruise control programming at some point and maybe (though less likely) the Auto shut off as well. As far as seat height I can't give anything there, I'm 5'10" and it's been good for me but we're all built a little different.

Enjoy the ride!

Hello, Don here from RI. Bought my seltos from Columbia kia. Welcome to the forum. I also have an sx turbo. Not perfect but nice enough. Personally I am disappointed in the Bose sound. My Toyota with JBL sound kicked butt! But whatever. Good luck!
Hi I went to Columbia Kia 3 times, ( Live 20 mins from them). They never came out to talk to me, Their loss. Went to Michaels in Groton Ct. got a great price. I'm an ex salesman so they could fool me. 😆 walked away fully loaded SX turbo for $28,500. Nohiddenn fees.. I do love it even with a few flaws. White and painted Caliper red they look nice.

Thanks for the tip on interval changes. Painted my calipers red, they look great with these rims, easy to see.

This came from an earlier poster. How to bypass auto shut off-take a credit card and cut a piece the length of the deactivation button and hold that button in and wedge the credit card in between the two buttons. The auto stop button will stay in disabling the function.Make sure to trim the piece so it is flush with the buttons.Mine has been like this for months and it has not damaged anything.

How did you go about painting your calipers? Did you remove them or paint them on the wheel? What kind of paint did you use and what was the outcome?

The should be a button for the Auto Shut Off to the left of the steering wheel. The ASO will automatically shut off during the first few mins until the engine warms up in cold weather. Not understanding your concern with the seat. I'm 6'4" and the driver's seat is very comfortable. It's an 8 way seat, so you should be able to maneuver it yo your liking. .
