We have the Kia Seltos SX Turbo AWD and it did NOT have homelink. There is a homelink mirror available, but there seems to be a question about if it can be installed on the seltos with UVO above the mirror. Does anyone know if it is possible to add the homelink mirror. It is the only missing feature that should be in a car like this.

Is the homelink mirror currently available for purchase by itself? It’s worth looking at the wiring for it. I would imagine it just needs power? If so and it’s not a different fitment, running power (if not already available at the mounting point) would be a simple 45 minute job

The mirror is available from KIA on lesser models.
The mirror offered for install has a note about not compatible with UVO on mirror. On the SX the UVO is above the mirror, not in the mirror itself. (possibly the harness up to the mirror uses wiring that continues up to the UVO?) Just trying to get clarification.

I found the GENHLBP1 on Amazon for $149.99. It is a very simple 2 button battery operated device that you can place anywhere. I drilled a hole on the left lower side of the dash. No wires. It is about the size of one of the normal dash buttons. Works like a charm

We finally placed the original garage door remote above the mirror and below the uvo button, using velcro. Now its convenient, out of the way and in the general area we are used to.........
No need to replace mirror.
