For those who have already purchased their Seltos, how much did you pay before tax, title, and license? What trim level and packages did you get?

Seltos SX Turbo - Paid less than a comparably equipped Nissan Rouge plus a better warranty so no complaints here.

Mind sharing how much?
Drove away from my local Kia dealership in Tennessee yesterday in a SX Turbo. It's blue/black two-tone with puddle lights and carpet floor mats. Final sales price before taxes and fees was $26,873 (after Kia's $1,000 rebate offer), so the dealer bought it down to $27,873 before Kia incentives.

Just closed a deal last Friday for the SX Turbo in yellow. This is a 3-year lease, 15k miles/year.

MSRP + Destination = $29,600
Sale Price: $27,041 (8.6% discount)
Money factor: 0.00127 (3.0% interest rate)
Lease term: 3 years, 15k miles per year
Residual value: $18,648 (so 63%)
Total cash down: $0
Trade-in allowance: $3900
Kia lease cash: $500
Monthly Payment: $245

For 24 months, it would've been almost the same price, since Kia ups the lease cash for that term significantly. So if you want less commitment, you can still get a good monthly payment imo.

Deal fell through as dealer couldn’t follow through on their promise to find the exact car we wanted.

Want to another dealer today and got a great deal on a Gravity Grey Kia Seltos S Turbo. 24.5k before taxes and fees. 1.9% interest rate so we went with that instead of paying it off. I’d rather get the interest from a high yield savings account.

SX Turbo lease here for 4 years at 19,000 miles/yr (I only asked for 18,000 but that‘s another story). MSRP just under 30K

$2,000 down, $378 per month with wear/tear protection included

Other vehicles I negotiated were a VW Tiguan R-Line Black series and a Mazda CX-30. Both would have been about $425 per month with $2,500 down- and that was after days of negotiations.

The real kicker was the 2020 Ford Escape. MSRP was just over $30,000 for the Sport Hybrid. They said the best they could do at 18,000 miles/yr and $25,000 down for 39 months was $540 per month! I was still sitting in the dealership waiting to play the negotiating game and they said I can get up and leave because this is done.

That was after leasing an Escape from them back in 2014, and a Fusion (my most recent car) back in 2017. So they gave up a customer of 6 years and didn’t seem to care at all! They claimed there were no incentives being offered. It’s OK though because I think the 2020 Escape looks terrible compared to the Seltos!

What's going on at Ford right now, I will never understand. IT's like the entire corporation is in a coma. How many years has that Fusion been on the market?

I believe 2019 was the last year. It was a good car, but it certainly needed a styling update if it hadn’t been pulled from the lineup. The newly designed 2020 Escape already needs an update, haha!
