Hi All,

I am trying to install sound deadning to my Seltos. Trying to figure out how to remove the central console around the gear stick. There is a like a small silver pillar connecting between central console just under the aircon controller.

Also trying to find some info on the bose amp interface. I feel the speakers are lacking a bit, just trying to improve the sound quality.

The amp has got two connectors, yellow one seems to be a input connector. Trying to find some info on the interface of this connector.

Best bet for that amp is checking out the Stinger forum or another Kia/Hyundai car that uses a similar Bose-branded system (unsure of the lineup). As far as I know, the system is CAN bus. Bad news for anyone wanting to retain factory head units.

You’re gonna have multiple remote lines and power for all channels and inputs mixed in there so guessing pinouts won’t result in anything great. You’ll need a signal converter if you just want to splice for subs - and you’ll need the correct pinout for the Bose module. If subs are all you want, I always recommend Gladen/Mosconi equipment over everything.

Be advised that if your dealer finds a splice, they likely have every right to void warranty.
