Just curious if anyone has any input, I work at a dealership, finally got my Seltos SX and the screen doesn't work, radio works, I can change the station, backup cam works, but it's stuck on the KIA Logo. I haven't taken delivery of it yet and we're waiting to hear from Kia as to when we can order a new screen.
Does anyone have any input on this issue? I have tried the reset button, disconnecting the battery for hours, checking the fuses, even tried pluggin a keyboard in and typing ALT+PRNTSCRN+E numerous times trying to force it into update mode. We plugged the USB update into it, nothing.
I want a new screen regardless, but if anyone has any idea how I can even temporarily use the screen to adjust some settings, it would be greatly appreciated.
Yes the main nav head unit. No, I can change the radio station using the seek and track buttons, but it only displays the KIA logo at all times. When I go in reverse, my rearview camera comes up but once I'm in drive or park again, back to the KIA logo. I will try to remember to take a video but it'll be pretty boring, it just shows Kia at all times, same logo that shows when you start up the vehicle.If I’m understanding this correctly, you’re able to see the radio channel selection and backup cam? No, I do not have anything plugged in, that is a good thing to keep in mind though, thanks for the heads up in the future.Just a thought but do you have anything, like a dashcam or something that's currently plugged into your OBD under your dash? I had a dashboard camera plugged in and the head unit didn't display anything. KIA told me to unplug it and replug it back in. It worked.
Yes, it actually got fixed today, needed a new head unit. No one could figure out how to fix it.Any update on this, sounds like a defect which should get you a new headunit.
