India Today shared an interesting article that talks about whether or not the Seltos should be considered a SUV since it doesn't come with all-wheel drive in India.
With the boom in crossovers the definition of Sport Utility Vehicle has definitely changed. Personally I'm surprised when someone gets a crossover/SUV without all-wheel drive, but obviously it depends on where you live, like in India.
I'd still say the Seltos is a SUV but the article did get me thinking. What does everyone else think of this?

Kia Seltos seems like a wonderful car for its price but is it fair to call it SUV?
While one cannot deny that Kia Seltos is a powerful vehicle having not one or two but three robust engine choices, it does not have the 4WD option. Not in India. The Korea-spec Seltos gets this option. We are not sure why the carmaker chose not to provide the 4WD feature in the India-spec Seltos.
