The Navigation system cannot find addresses typed in, in either online or offline search mode. We did NOT continue the UVO subscription. What do we need to change to fix this so it is not dependent on UVO? That seems to be the culprit as I scan these forums. But I don't see an answer.

Was talking to UVO about the subscriptions and the person said you should be able to use basic navigation as far as they knew in this circumstance... They wanted to talk to you more about it -

So we talked to UVO support, grabbed pictures of various settings and sent a video of trying to enter an address. They also sent info on how to update the maps. There were no updates applicable to our car/year. So it seems you cannot type in an address that is not a POI. You can use the Voice Command mode and say an address. Go figure. So we are OK using the Voice mode, but that is all that works. Apple CarPlay will also work. But we'd like to use the NAV system that we paid for and not our data services... So that's the answer. You MUST use VR.

My UVO subscription ran out several months ago and I have no issues with the nav system. I'm not sure I even understand the link between the two. UVO app has nothing to do with the nav. It's totally independent.

Hmmm. Thought you should always be able to type in an address.... There was a Nov 1 sw and map update.
I can type in an address.Works fine. If I try for an address out of state, sometimes it won't find it until I change the state to the one I'm searching in. When in search window, press the "state" on the upper right and select the state you want to search in.

Prior to UVO expiring, I could TYPE IN an address and it would find it. Now it just says no signal, whether in online or offline mode, which led me to believe it was trying to talk to UVO to locate the address.
