here's the dimensions from the South Korean website, which seems to vary somewhat from the figures in the first post. I've added the imperial measurements.

I finally found some interior dimensions for the Seltos, as I was curious as to how it compared to my Soul, surprisingly most dimensions are almost the same. Here is the comparison in inches, first figure the Seltos and second the 2020 Soul (Canadian specs):

Ground clearance: 7.2" / 6.7"

Legroom front: 41.4" / 41.1"
Legroom rear: 38" / 38.8"
Headroom front: 40" / 39.9"
Headroom rear: 38.4" / 39.5"
Shoulder room front: 55.5" / 55.5"
Should room rear: 54.9" / 54.7"

The only figure I have found so far for the cargo area is for the rear seats in the up position:

15.3 - 17.6 cu. ft. (VDA) / 18.7 - 23.4 cu. ft.

In the case of the Seltos I think it's the measurement to the cargo cover, in the Soul this cover is not standard but just available on higher models. This cargo area of the Seltos certainly does not look smaller than the Soul.

update - did some checking on the Sportage for example as we have two different measuring systems VDA and SAE. Here is the comparison with the two methods:
VDA:
seats up - 16.5 cu. ft., seats down - 51.4 cu. ft.
SAE:
seats up - 30.7 cu. ft.., seats down - 60.1 cu. ft.

Thanks for sharing the specifications but there is something missing the towing capacity, anybody know here the towing capacity of seltos? Cae we use this for car towing service?
Towing is always possible.
To what extent is a whole different question and here it won't be much. My guess, no more than 4000 LBS.

boy, you are optimistic, the Sportage is only 2000 lbs with trailer brakes and 1653 lbs without, so find it hard to think the Seltos will match this. Even the Telluride has a maximum 5000 lbs towing capacity when equipped correctly.

However towing rating will vary with the country it's sold in. For example the Soul is not recommended for towing in Canada and the US but it was when it was sold in Europe (ICE version)

Oh wow, you are right.
Safe to say sub-2000 lbs is what we're getting. A bigger question would be what's a truly safe towing cap that can be used with little consideration.

Probably as most I would tow a very small trailer or hook up a hitch mounted cargo box.

Yeah I don't know if I'd want to try and max out the towing capacity in a vehicle like this. I'd love to see someone do a towing test with the Seltos.
