Great to see so much focus on India but what if the Seltos doesn't come to America?
Could they further improve on the Soul?

the Soul and Seltos are built at the same factory in South Korea.

I doubt if you would see any dramatic changes in the Soul as the 2020 model is brand new from the ground up, so the next generation would be at least 5 years away.

Yeah I don't think the Soul will change all of a sudden if the Seltos doesn't come to North America, especially as @conwelpic said they just redesigned it. But there is a big void underneath the Sportage in Kia's lineup.

generally all vehicles get tweaks most new model years but wouldn't expect much change when the 2021 Soul comes out, into it's 3rd year you might get more changes. They expanded the line-up considerably for the 2020 Soul (at least in the US) over the 2019.

A Trail'ster inspired trim to fill in the off-road capability aspect of what a Seltos could offer

That is, if the Seltos doesn't sell state side and doesn't come in an off-road spec.

Wow, that is a really cool looking version of the Soul. Would it come with all-wheel drive?

It wouldn't be a proper off roader without.
Safe to say AWD has to be included. Only real concern is how good of an AWD system it will be, especially in a Kia Soul.
