Navigation - Confused what is on screen.

I have the 2022 Seltos S. When I do navigation I have 2 questions. When the screen shows distance to next turn at the top, directly to the right is a tab that shows another distance with an arrow in the opposite direction and the distance NEVER CHANGES. What in the heck is this tab showing? Also I am use to entering navigation by state, city, street. All I see is to start entering an address and it never gives me the address I am looking for.

If you have factory navigation (on an S?), you have to read the upcoming turns from the bottom up - it's a little confusing...so that top number doesn't change because that's how far you'll be after your next turn. That's my understanding... You should be able just to type in the street number, street and then town and it will find it. On the SX Turbo ou can also try the voice button (UVO button on ceiling or PTT button on steering wheel) and provide the address that way. That all seems to work fine for me. If you have the Kia Connect app you can also find / send an address from your phone to the car and it should pop up as a place to go to or save next time you start... That has been my experience.

The tab to the right is telling you about the direction you must take after the next one. In other words, the first tab tells you about the next turn, the second tells you about the one after that.

The distance doesn't change as it's the distance between the next decision point and the one after.

It helps with situations like "...after I turn left, I need to quickly get in the right lane to turn right".
