Hi forum.
We replaced a 2010 Rav 4 base that had 260,000 kms on it, with a new 2021 Seltos EX Premium in White Pearl a few weeks ago.
So far, we absolutely love the car. Everything from the heated and cooled seats, to the nav and all the safety features are impressing us daily. I'm blown away how this thing will essentially drive itself (with hands hovering just above the steering wheel of course). At night, the LED lights not only look stunning, they are incredibly bright, and so far, the automatic high beams work flawlessly. The gas mileage is way better than we expected. We've driven about 2500 km so far and we're getting 6.5l/100km combined, which is even better than my Honda Civic.

I hope it continues to perform and impress over the years to come.

Welcome @K-ville.

Any reasons why you didn't go with another Toyota?

As for the years ahead, I think you will be impressed. A lot of studies suggest Kia & Hyundai products are among some of the best these days. Not only that but owners rave about them too (much like what's going on here :D)

Keep us posted on how things go!

Toyota was too expensive for the features I wanted, plus local inventory was quite low.

Same reason why I didn't look at Toyota - Too expensive for what I wanted.

I'm glad you like it. Another bonus, is the lower models are port injected instead of GDI. Less performance, but carbon problems should be eliminated or greatly reduced.

I'm on the fence, deciding between an EX and EX Premium. Originally, I was just going LX AWD, but then you start seeing other options on the EX. I'm interested in the LED lights on the premium, but don't really have a comparison on how much better - but I assume fair bit better.

I almost feel the decision is between the LX and the EX Premium for me.

I took an EX Premium for a test drive, and the mpg was quite impressive.

The main reason for the EX Premium was the air cooled seats. I wouldn't trade that for the world. Everything else is just gravy.

Well maybe that's a a selling point for me? Not as humid out here in the prairies, but it's been one of the hottest summers. I didn't actually try during my test drive. Thanks
Oh what a beauty!! I just purchased this exact vehicle this past Saturday and I'm in love!! I got the same everything... EX Premium with the same tire rims and same colour. Good choice!! :)

Congrats on your new Seltos. It really is hard not to love this vehicle. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs in the winter. My wife and I have never had AWD, heated seats, or a heated steering wheel, so it will be interesting.
Congratulations! I also got the EX Premium same colour. It's a beauty to look at for sure.
