oil filter conflicting info

I'm probably going to do my own oil and filter change in the next few weeks. I have a new, unopened jug of 0W-20 Mobil 1, and I was going to buy a filter from the local dealer, just so I at least have that proof. I can see the existing filter on my car, and I can see that it is blue and says Hyundai Kia on it, but I really can't read a model number the way it's positioned. So I googled the part number for oem filter and I'm finding 26300-35505. Well, when I look up that part number on the dealer's website (as well as other Kia local dealer parts sites), it says it doesn't fit my 2022 Seltos. If I search for an oil filter for the 2022 Seltos, the sites come up with a Mopar filter P4452890. However if I change the model year to 2021, it's fine with that original part number. I thought the 2021 and 2022 were pretty much the same beast, except for the badging.

Doesn't seem right that they'd be using Mopar filters as oem. I'm considering just calling KIA, but figured I'd pick the brains here first.

Not that I'd ever recommend using a Fram filter, but their website lists the same 9688 model line for both the 2021 and 2022 2.0L NA (and 1.6T)

Amsoil website also lists the same EA15K20 for both MY

NAPA shows the NGF1334 for both as well

Looks like google is out to lunch....
Thanks. Actually, Amazon and the dealer websites are what seem to be 'out to lunch'. I think that part number 26300-35505 is correct. I may just call KIA to confirm.

I am certain that Hyundai uses the same part for the Kona and likely others. So that's worth checking too.

Is this a cartridge filter by any chance?

Yep, this is likely the case. I have always had an issue with confirming the right filter part numbers for
whatever newer model car I had, the current model year always lags. This has been an issue for
as long as I've owned a car. I suspect 26300-35505 is correct for 2022 for both engines. But I might
buy the first one from the dealer and press them on it.
Not sure if I want to go through all that trouble just to change the oil. I have unlimited amount of free oil changes from my dealership. Not sure if that's a KIA thing or dealership deal.

Definitely a dealership deal/decision Congrats. Mine offers a coupon to bring the cost of a full-synthetic oil change down to $104.95. They also have a coupon for a $35 tire rotation. That's $140 I'd prefer in my pocket.
It appears that the online kia parts dealers have not updated to included 2022 cars. The only engine I've seen that have seen a different oil filter is the new Rio. It has a oil filter cartridge. If it is a canister style, it will be 26300-35505.
Somebody who has actually changed their own oil for both 2.0 and 1.6t engines?
The specific Kia part # ? Is it the same for both engines?

I haven't changed my own oil yet, but everything I've seen indicates that it is...
Actually, from my oil change receipt with the wrong oil weight, it does say part 26300-35505 for the SX Turbo 1.6T

I am guessing same for the 2.0 - so I'd go for that and I have seen where it sals the 35505 is an update for older 35504

I have a Soul with a Nu 2.0 and a Seltos SX 1.6T. They both use the same oil filter.
