I was wondering why Kia didn't add any parking sensor to the Seltos. I have the SX turbo that is supposed to be the highest trim. It does have many bells and whistle but my wife really miss the beeping while parking

I have the SX turbo as well, and my window purchase sticker even says it’s equipped with (PDW) Parking Distance Warning. I have found the option on the infotainment screen, but it doesn’t allow me to actually activate it. It’s really strange...

The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance (RCCA) works and beeps though 🤷‍♂️

Yep, same thing. It is in the menu, but cant be activate. also there s no sensors on the bumpers, but they could be hidden below. But it would be nice to have beeping when u re too close in front and on the back

This option is not available in NA afaik. Here's and Indian or Australian market Seltos where you can see the 4 sensors on the rear bumper. There's also a screen inside the dash cluster for these sensors and a button to deactivate the system on the shifter console

I really think KIA is out of touch with the real world. It is stupid the way the way they pick and choose what items they think we want on the car

I was thinking the same. I bought the SX turbo (Canadian spec so lots of bell and whistle) and Im surprise of all the "basic" feature my older car had that this one doesnt. No memory seat position? No dual zone climate? No electric column steering adjustment? No panoramic sunroof? No 360 camera in North America? No led rear side marker? No electric tailgate?

Oh but you get rear heated seats and Kia Uvo which take 3min to send a command to the car

Here in the USA we CANNOT get heated steering wheel, Heads Up unit, heated back seats, Air filter system, and cooled seats.
I really miss the heated steering wheel during the winter

Yeah, heated steering wheel is godsense in winter. I got mine in december so I havent really tested the cooled seats yet but Ive heard its an awesome feature. The only drawback canadian seltos has is no black roof available, but I got mine wrapped for around 300$ (probably like $50 USD LOL)
