Not that I have found - maybe someone else knows - but there is a second page of replies if you scroll down, which wasn't obvious to me to begin with.... I created a case with UVO back in January but no go (before I saw the second page of replies):

I HAVE NEWS! I FOUND OUT BY TESTING THE SYSTEM AND IF YOU WANT TO REPLY INSTEAD OF CHOOSING ONE OF THE PRE-MADE CHOICES, PRESS THE MICROPHONE AT THE TOP AND YOU CAN DICTATE YOUR OWN MESSAGE AND THEN SEND IT. GREAT FIND!

Nice going! will have to (remember to) give this a try... We'll promote you (well, not sure it's a promotion) to UVO Customer Service...

I'm not much of a cell-phone expert, but I discovered this easy method not too long ago (like REGZTFEN). If I have my Android phone connected by cable to the USB, and Android Auto is running, I can either push the microphone icon or say "Hey Google". There is a "ding-dong" to confirm connection. Then I say "Send message to XXXX". It gives me a verbal confirmation, and then I say a short message. "I'm running late. Be home at 5." It then confirms and sends. Easy Peasy.

This is on our '20 Soul LX. We ordered a '22 Seltos LX AWD in early November. It appears the two systems are very similar. Hopefully our car will arrive this month!

Yes, I'm glad AA helps with that, not surprised. With the SX and Navigation and all that, I can just say to the car itself - "text beth taylor i'm running late" and it will send it, no AA having to be wired up. It will display or play the return text. Then you have some pre-populated responses you can choose to text back with but the discovery here (for me) is that you can use a custom voice response text using the microphone right on the nav system. I haven't tried that yet but that is a good find since the pre-populated responses often weren't sufficient... But I'm glad AA is working well for you!

You can only use a voice reply if you buy the ultimate Evo subscription (which I believe is what you get free for the first year.) If you don't buy that, you can't SEND a text message other than a canned reply.

Yes - was easy for me to miss on top right, but my wife sent me a text and I was easily able to create a voice response by tapping on the microphone... Above it is mentioned you need the Ultimate UVO package to do this - I have that, but that doesn't sound fair!
