My wife thinks she spilt coffee on the seat of your Seltos Ex. Now the seatbelt chime and indicator keep flashing. Any quick fixes besides disconnecting the battery? Maybe? TIA

pretty sure you need to check the pressure connector under the seat. Wet connector could mess up the electric signal that might think that there’s occupant on that seat. *sorry for my broken english or grammar. English isn’t my native language.

Does plugging the empty seat belt in help?

have you try it yourself? logically that should solve the chime n flashing indicator. But, you should try to check the connector under the seat and try to dry and clean it as soon as you can, otherwise it will rust and make it worse.
