Part picture, part experience, part question, I wanted to share that my Seltos EX a) looks great wearing a canoe for a hat imho (dusty as she may be) and b) works great with the Thule Wingbar system. Easy install of the bars.

Now I just need to source an eye bolt for the front bumper to prevent rearward movement while on the highway. I see my front bumper has the punch out for the accessory, does anyone know where to get one, or the exact specs for diameter and thread?

I've owned three Kia's 2008 - 2016 and every model included the eye-bolt, are you sure it's not in with your spare kit?

Thanks for the post and the picture. I'm thinking my Seltos might look OK with a kayak on the top. This also helps me decide to place on the same side as the tow hook in the front bumper!!

Your Seltos should have came with one in the spare tire kit.I would see the dealer about that.

I have no doubt it will look fantastic! Such a sporty looking vehicle, it's in part what helped seal the deal with us opting for the Seltos.

Sorry, I can't actually remember, though I didn't have to buy the bar since I got it from a family member. Just had to get the fit kit.

I haven’t had much luck finding the Thule kit for my EX in Canada. Seems everything is back ordered or getting different info for how long the bars should be. Dealer is quoting $995 installed. Was offered a kit and bars for a Kona. Not sure it will work.

I use the bolt on front of a Kia Soul. Is there a way anyone could recommend when using the eye Bolt to secure kayaks (north to South) on roof and not scuff up the hood or lift gate?
