I am seriously thinking about getting a Seltos. In my area, there are none at the dealers. So need to drive several hours to get one/look at one. I am curious about the interior build quality? Is there any soft touch or padded material or is it all hard plastics?

does the interior make a lot noise?

Thank you
Troy

The dash is hard plastic on top, but honestly it is not that cheap feeling imo, I've had far worse. (Think...anything GM pre-1999, they really had the worst plastics probably even later than that). It is soft touch on the front.
The build quality is very good and the interior is very well laid out and comfortable. I love my two tone version:

Thank you! I like that interior too. I honestly didn't know they make power for the passenger seat as well. But that interior looks sharp.

I think the power passenger seat may only be on the EX+ and SX, (two top trims) here in Canada, not sure how far down the trim lines it goes in the US.

Also I do not find the sound level to be bad at all in my 22 SX. Very normal, no squeaks or rattles at all.

Yes, there are hard plastics, but not where it matters. For instance, in my SX, the strip below the touch screen, where you sorta rest your hand while choosing things on the screen or selecting buttons below the screen, is soft and comfortable. We find the interior to be very comfortable, roomy, and well laid out. I can, too, say I have no squeaks or rattles, and the road noise is just fine. We've had our car since November of 2020 and I have just over 18,000 miles on it.

Love our Seltos!

Beaware there are a LOT of differences between the Canadian versions, including things like cooled front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, HUD and who knows what else... It can be very confusing. Study the Kia website carefully or visit a dealer when you can
