For functionality, I prefer the CarPlay feature. Haven't used the Bluetooth connection in the year that I've owned the Seltos. Good to hear that there is an issue though.
Seltos, iPhone contact download issue

I have 2020 Seltos HTX IVT purchased in Aug 2020 and iPhone 11 with iOS 14.5. Initially contacts downloaded fully to Seltos but after a month or so, whenever I start the car, my iPhone connects to the Seltos, history being downloaded but contacts download not happening and come as failure.
Tried all the known methods, updating, reinstalling, re-configuring iPhone, Bluetooth in Seltos & AVNT software update etc., but no solution in sight. Complained to Kia but they route the issue to dealer who unfortunately doesn’t have a solution even after talking to AVNT supplier Motrex.
Last I heard is that, there is some issue with AVNT software for iPhone 11 & above.
Is anybody else facing the problem or do they have any solution to this issue

Software updates may be regional. The Navigation Downloader that does it requires you to enter a VIN to ensure the correct data is being downloaded. Confirmed my download in my folder is labeled as 22_Seltos_CAN for Canada. My update may not work for a Turkish Infotainment unit.

I don't want it for the map of the software itself, I will transfer it to the usb and download it to the car from there. I want it for Car Play.Software updates may be regional. Güncelleme programı Türkiye'de olduğumu anlıyor. DNS değiştirdim ama program hala TR'de olduğumu biliyor ve Seltos için yazılım yok.
Yazılım güncellemeleri bölgesel olabilir. Bunu yapan Navigation Downloader, doğru verilerin indirildiğinden emin olmak için bir VIN girmenizi gerektirir. Elinize almayı umduğunuz İndirici mi yoksa Güncellemenin kendisi mi?

I would have thought CarPlay would already be there direct from the factory, wired for sure, possibly not wireless. Is it specifically Wireless CarPlay you're attempting to get? What size screen is your infotainment unit? 8", 10.25"? Or something else? If you have the 10.25" that may explain things.
Do you have CarPlay when plugged in Wired? But are looking to unlock Wireless? Confirm if you have Wired CarPlay when plugged into the center (middle) port. It is the one that carries data.

car play is active but I want to upgrade. They do not allow the program because I am in Turkey.
Sorry, I tried. I was able to change my location to Turkey in the update software but you're right the Seltos does not exist there. I then tried South Korea because of the 'KOR' in your App Version, I thought maybe you were loaded with that region's software, but that refused to allow me to even change it based on my physical location. Have you tried changing your location in the download software to 'South Korea'? The second drop-down chooses language, one of which is English (in case your English is better than your Korean). If Turkey is loaded with that regions software it may allow you where it blocks me.
I can upload but I'd suggest waiting till the current update is available. It's currently down, I suspect they may be prepping the new version, we are due for one. If I were to upload what I have now, it would be the 2022 November version. Because of the large size of the update I'd like to suggest we wait till the new version is available. Even then, there's no guarantee your infotainment unit would accept it.

Yeah, you confused me a bit with that VIN reference SHCS, I was never required to put a VIN in, just select my model year and country I think. I downloaded the latest update for Australia a couple of days ago, and installed it without incident. It is dated, (they do it backwards) 221223, whereas the previous was 220623, so I'm presuming for Aus anyway the actual date of the update is 23rd Dec, 2022. So, it's still behind the eight-ball a bit, but they don't appear to have messed with it at least.I was totally wrong on this by the way.
