Seltos SX - adding a character line

The wheel centre caps were looking lonely being the only colour pop on the side so I took a page from Kia of India's book and threw a red character line at the bottom of the door trim (ala GT line)
I think it turned out not bad...I wish the red was a little darker like the centre caps, but it's close enough and at least it's the right shade. Reds can be very fussy for matching depending on what range of the spectrum they're coming from.

I did the same kind of line years ago on my old Westy and it looked awesome, and now that I look back at it, my Westy was near the same colour...how about that? lol

Update: after 24 hours and looking at it in the sunlight a few times I pulled the stripe off the car. It just wasn't quite the right red in the sun, a little too bright for my tastes and enough "off" from the centre caps to be annoying. (ok, yeah...maybe I'm picky...lol). If it was a deeper shade of red, I'd probably like it, guess I'll keep my eyes peeled for a different pinstripe vinyl.
I'll leave the pics up for anyone who was thinking about doing one. It would probably look a lot better on a white or black vehicle. The Gravity Grey is also just a little bit of the wrong shade with this particular colour vinyl and it had a slight clash that was bugging me.

Without seeing it in person, I think it actually looked VERY good. I can understand if the shade felt off to you a bit, but I hope you find one you like!
