This is bad! I only have my 2021 Seltos SX Turbo (USA) for four weeks and I stumbled on this tranny issue while searching for a way to update only the map data so the UI and screen color will not be affected. The latest update includes system component update which changes the screen color to a shade of neon purple (yucky).

I don't understand your complaint. What does the head unit update (which I saw on a Canadian dealership's youtube channel) have to do with the transmission?

Also, the transmission problems experienced by the Seltos and Soul are exclusively the IVT (aka CVT) though, and have nothing to do with your DCT. But yeah, I've been recommending everyone stay away from the 2.0/IVT combo until they work out this problem. Lots of people on the Soul forum too are complaining about premature transmission replacements. CVTs in general just don't seem very confidence inspiring from a reliability standpoint of late, as almost every manufacturer seems to have one problem or another.
