Maybe I'm the only one who missed this, but one thing we've discussed here is that with the changes to the "Radio" screen from about a year ago, you can only see the name of the Sirius channel on the screen, whereas earlier you could see a list of the channels numbers and their name. I have totally missed the "Channel List" button on the bottom right of the radio screen when you are using Sirius. One problem is is that the button is shortened to "List" if you are using split screen.
Anyway, from what I can tell, pressing "Channel List" (or "List") shows you a list of your preset Sirius channels - channel number and full name. It shows this if you have the "Prioritize Presets" button turned on (if you don't 'prioritize' you see all the Sirius channels). You can scroll up/down to see more channels. So that's good right away - you can scroll and tap any of your presets based on channel name.
Also on the "Channel List" you can set up to 10 channels to "record"...and the channels you have set to record show at the top of your preset list. So...it might be a good idea to set your 10 most favorite channels to 'record' so you see them all listed together at the top of the list.... Tapping on "All Channels" on that screen takes you to a category listing in case you want to try something new.
As far as recording, it appears, once you turn recording on to begin with it will be recording that channel from the time you turn the car on each day. Then you can press/hold the rewind button to reverse 2 seconds at a time. Or you can tap the rewind button and it will rewind in some kind of increment, like a minute and a half or something like that - so tap it twice to go back like three minutes (you have to play with this). If you rewind too far you can tap the fast forward button to do just that. Also, there is a red "LIVE" button to get you back to the 'live' Sirius broadcast. I could see the rewind being useful if you're on the road and what to hear some news but you missed the start of it, etc....
Anyway - if you figure out more about this, please add an update. Here are some pictures.
"Channel List" shows just as "List" when using split screen.
Notice "Prioritize Presetd" is on (lit up)

Here are the playback controls, and the 'Live' button
