Curious if others are getting this experience...

When I am going over a wider/deeper bump in the road, it seems as I am hitting the top of it I hear a very loud thud in the front end. For example, a wider/deeper speed bump at moderate or slightly above moderate speed - or a high point in the road that then drops suddenly.

What I feel is happen is the suspension is extending out 100% to the point where it's hitting it's "end" before being immediately compressed again as the weight of the car settles back down.

Anyone else experience that? Does that sound like what could be happening?
