I'm planning a trip with a bunch of items to gift my family. I'd like to Remove the Back and Lower Rear Seat for more room. Has anyone else tried to or been successful at removing them and later replace them?

Were you ever able to figure this one out?
I had a look at mine (22 SX) and it looks like the seat bottoms are fairly old school (60's style clip in) in the way they fasten. Push in the front of the seat bottom and pop upwards...I didn't pop mine out, but that is certainly how they feel when I was pushing on them a bit.
The seat backs appear to be 10mm bolts into the floor.
