Advantages?

Disadvantages?

I know I'm getting white with black roof.
It's really going to boil down to how much additional space you need, how much more you want to spend, and personal preferences on styling.

For me personally, the Sportage is a nice vehicle, but it's about $4K more (CDN) for mid-level vs top level trim Seltos, I really didn't need a bigger vehicle as I was already down-sizing from my Cherokee TH, and...the new styling wasn't really my jam.
The Seltos packs a lot features for a very reasonable price in a small package and the styling is a huge hit in my books...winner...ymmv, everybody is different.

Sportage: Available in Hybrid.
Seltos: Styling.

I was sold on the Seltos' styling, but I still gave the Sportage Hybrid SERIOUS consideration for the mere fact that it was Hybrid. I was on both vehicle's wait lists and would have accepted whichever arrived first. I figured the extra cost of the Sportage would be circumvented by the better fuel economy. But I was NOT sold on the Sportages styling. The boomerang headlights. And most of you will disagree, but I don't like the fully digital dash. I felt the dash wasn't fully fleshed out. The same goes for the new '24 Seltos that has that dash. Just not fond of it. Some cars are doing the fully digital dashes very well, just don't think what KIA/Hyundai is doing hits that mark.

Well, SHCS, my brother-in-law takes delivery of the latest Sportage (diesel) GT-Line, next month. I'll hold off a verdict on the fully integrated digital dash until I get to have a test drive. When not fired up they do look a bit...meh...but once all lit up - might be a different thang..? :)

To me, it looks like they took a loooong length of plexi and slapped two tablets behind it, which is pretty much what they did. And the lower trims are worse. I like my hybrid digital/analog cluster.

I agree. I'm very happy with my dash layout. There's still something to be said for some analog function and some solid knobs as well. I hate having to use touch any more than necessary, especially when on the move - it's just plain dangerous.

How/where do you see the '24 Seltos dash?

Did the body change much?
Follow the above link and decide for yourself. Personally, owning one of the first models, I feel it is different...nice...but not better than the original. But that's just me, I guess. I'm biased..! Happily so, in fact. (y) :D

Well, I've owned (2) Seltos, EX & SX Turbo. Yesterday I just purchased the 2023 Sportage EX Hybrid. (arriving April 14). If I was leaning toward the Seltos, I would have to wait till the 2024's come out, with the Restyling/Looks and the interior very much similar to the current Sportage. You're probably asking yourself why did I trade in my Seltos SX for the Sportage Hybrid, gas, economy, performance & very importantly "The Gimmies", what my father used to call when I wanted something when I was a kid.

I'll be interested to hear what you find with fuel economy vs the Seltos SX. I almost went this route as well to get the hybrid.
I guarantee it will be better…the SX does not get much better than 8 to 9 L/100 km even on the highway. The gearing is just too low on the 7 spd DCT. Just finished a 500 km trip from Saskatoon to Edmonton and my average was 9.4 L/100 km calculated…(8.9 indicated). No headwinds and steady cruise at 110.
