Did You find out any info on the address icon?
I have the EX Premium and Places works for me. Just type as much of the address that you know and then press OK. If I type 123 Wilson Street, it will list all 123 Wilson streets with the closest one first. If I type just Wilson Street Ottawa it will list everything it has on Wilson St. You have to press OK though, otherwise the short list that appears to the right will just have a few POI entries. It works great, but it's different than other nav systems where you have to put in the City, then street, then address. This one, just put in as much as you know, press OK and you're in for a world of results.Hello all from Ontario, Canada!
Our story - went out looking for a Toyota RAV4, came home with a 2021 Kia Seltos SX Turbo!
As I've read in other discussions, there are a few things missing that we are used to (memory seats, no truck release hatch on fob, no back up beep)......some odd omissions considering the excellent features, but overall an excellent vehicle so far.
This next one is a head scratcher and I truly hope this is simply a settings issue. I've attached an image of what I see on the navigation screen. I can't figure out why I don't have an "Address" icon. Not the "Address Book", an icon that allows me to simply type in a destination address. The first icon is "Places" and if I type in an address using that icon, it lists many, many places with the street name in it. For example, if the street name is Wilson, it will list Wilson Florist, Wilson Hardware etc, rather than just taking me to 123 Wilson St. We can use the voice command by saying "find an address in Ontario" but there has to be a way to type it in. I've looked at a few video clips (I think from Canada) which have the Address icon, so I'm puzzled.
