Test Drives?

I haven't heard of anyone here that has taken a test drive now that they are readily available in the US. When will you do that?

I was very impressed when I took mine.

I won't have mine for another week but I'll post after I've driven it around. The dealership had an EX to test drive but since I'm getting the SX I know the experience won't be the same. I have read that people generally like the 1.6T engine with AWD however the power delivery isn't so great on the lower end when starting from a completed stop.

Got my SX yesterday. Sport mode is definitely the better driving experience but normal does just fine for city traffic.
I see what people are saying about the DCT, acceleration from a full stop is a bit jerky. Not awful but definitely noticeable.
It is a bit jerky at times... but coming from a prius, its not awful. Noticeable as you say but not awful. The rest thus far has been a pleasure.
Same here, normal mode is not perfect. It shifts in about 2000rpm's or less. You get from 1st gear to 4th gear very quickly and feels odd. Sport mode solves that jerkyness because it shifts at about 3000rpm's instead.

It's not bad, and it's meant to keep fuel consumption low. But sport mode does feel better.

Definitely agree. I wish there was a way to keep sport mode on permanently.

I came from a 2015 Nissan Murano, completely different class and ride. But very happy with my Seltos S ride. A bit jerky over 50 mph. But the cornering and handling very good. I've owned mine for about a month now. I think in the long run I'll upgrade to 18" wheels and tires if possible.
I own an Audi with a wet clutch DCT and a VW with a Manual. For me, the DCT in the Seltos is fine. I don't have torque converter automatic expectations. It does what DCTs do.

They have released an update to the DCT logic that the dealer can install. I got it done during my oil change. I have noticed a definite improvement.

Took a short one and then signed the papers
