For those of you, like me who absolutely HATE the recent "DOWNGRADE" software "update". Please call the following and make complaints to:
MapNSoft - 888-757-0010 (they're say that they are only responsible for the programming of the NAV software only)
KIA Customer Service - 800-333-4542 (Customer service will suggest you to talk with UVO or MapNSoft, useless)
UVO - 844-866-9411 (UVO will ask you to call either MapNSoft or KIA Cust., LOL)

If enough will complain, they'll hopefully role-out another 2 hour upgrade!

I have the Kia Seltos SX turbo and I did the update for the navigation system sigh. I cannot find "address" anymore so can't put the address in where I want to go. Does anyone know where the hid it? Sorry I upgraded. As the old saying goes if it is broken don't fix it!

When you bring up the NAV map, touch the map again, and the icons appear on the left of the screen. One of the icons you must tap again to input your destination. Another Lovely thing they changed in the Downgrade. Now if your driving and want to look for amenities or change your destination, you have to touch the screen Twice! Before the left side icons where always there. Now they disappear after a few seconds.

Don't Download, What you currently have is MUCH BETTER than the Garbage Upgrade. Wait until the next update. I learned my lesson, of jumping to download too fast. The current one is much Worse than what you have. Don't Update!

I already downloaded the upgrade and that is why I can find the address book. I just did not know if I downloaded the right one.

Thank you once again. I found the magnifying glass and it now is working. The one thing I want to add is that even though I downloaded the upgrade I do NOT have a purple screen anywhere. Actually I am happy about that because I think it is atrocious. I was wondering how you get three things on your screen? Map/Radio/and weather? I have map and radio but it sure would be nice to have weather up there as well. As you probably already know I am not very savvy with this kind of stuff... lol

If you downloaded the April update, you should have the purple screen. Find the home icon and tap on that - that should show you all the individual icons. Then you can swipe to the right to see the minimalist home screen. It has some good information on it and can be very calming. Also, with that update you can no longer do the three screens on one. That is what the other fellow is complaining about the most I think. Those three screens were called widgets. Now you have either a full screen of the map, radio etc. Or you can tap on the arrow on the right side of the screen to have 2/3 of a screen and 1/3 of a screen. But you can't have three separate screens. That right hand side (smaller one) can be swiped up and down to show different things like the compass and time etc.

Check out this post today from our Canadian Kia dealer. He is saying that there will never be wireless Android auto and Carplay in the 10 and a half quarter inch screens.

Cant you just look out your window to determine the weather? Its not telling you anything you literally cant see for yourself.

But if you really need the weather, hit map button. Then on right side you will see a little arrow, that will pop out the radio/music you are listening too. In that box, just slide it up or down. Weather will be there.

If you made the update that was released earlier this week, your Settings screen for the s/w should look like below. If you do have this release, you will ONLY have the purple screens...and will not be able to have 3 small screens across, thus at most one 2/3 wide screen and one 1/3 screen as mentioned above. The weather can be helpful as it is a 6 day forecast now (thought it was 3 before....). And you still won't have Wireless AA/Car Play as mentioned above...and we probably never will...

I got my car in July, so i have whatever s/w was running then. Havent updated to this Nov release.

Regardless, i can still have 3 screens. and just slide the far right one up and down to get different information. (weather, compass, etc)

They are coming out with new videos - this one mainly covers how to set Waypoints in Navigation in case anyone is interested - that can be a little cornfusing. Also she doesn't mention it, but the easiest way to cancel navigation now is to press/hold the Pause Route on the screen.

it shows the "Pause Route" button right in the NAV screen, whats so difficult about it?
