Hi - Valet Mode is not very exciting but can come in useful (real valets, while car is at the dealer), and was really the only 'upgrade' with the November 2021 software update. However, it doesn't work for me and at least one other person who has updated the software. (There's a famous story here in CO a couple years ago where the dealer had a car for a week, and the tech took it and drove it all around for a week, Home Depot, etc., as his personal car. Unfortunately for him, he didn't realize a dash cam caught it all. It was on the news etc... Of course, that's where I bought my car. This new Valet Mode should have helped with that!)

If you have updated to the November software (pix below show what that should look like in Settings), can you go to the Home screen, then scroll left and tap on "Valet". It should prompt you for a password with the new software. Instead, for at least some of us, it just says to "call xxxx to activate" (pic below). That's not what should happen. I have a case open with UVO but I have a feeling that it's not working for more people! Could you check and update this thread? Thank you! I will let Kia know the results...!

Message when you tap "Valet" on the home screen (you should get a password screen, not this):

Here's what the latest s/w and map versions look like in Settings:

Well, I tried it again last night and it has started working... Don't know if they did something or if extending the UVO subscription did the trick...?? I updated my 'case'. The big thing is it can provide some privacy since it locks out all functions of the infotainment stuff while Valet Mode is on. It seems like the simple "Valet Mode" on the app still works (just tells you the car has been driven for a certain amt of miles - not very detailed cp to this Valet Mode which tells highest speed, distance, when it was last turned off etc). Here's some info on it if needed:
