Just secured my spot for a 2021 Seltos SX!

Orders for the Seltos started last month (November) with the first batch of them scheduled for delivery by "mid-March," according to my KIA dealer. Unfortunately they didn't disclose information on pricing, trims, colors, options and features, aside from what's already on KIA's website. Along with saying how similar the packaging and pricing will be to other current KIA's. My deposit was $1,000.

I was told "a breakdown of features will come towards the end of the month/early January". It was hinted this would be the build & price configurator, which makes a lot of sense considering the release date just around the corner!

Someone I know in Orlando, Florida was given a longer timeline from their dealer:
“I believe that we will be seeing this beauty in 6 months, however, I have a meeting with my team on Saturday and I will touch base about the Seltos so I can know when are we going to start taking orders on the vehicle or better yet when they are going to start coming in.”

Weird how the U.S. seems to be getting these a little after Canada.
Has anyone heard or even received anything regarding availability and order options?

It would be best if all of us share our order status information as it gets updated.

I will be getting more information from my dealer very soon, so stay tuned.

I am keeping an eye on Cargurus.com because that is where I first see actual cars by VIN number listed before they reach the dealers. It isn't long after they appear there that I see new intros appear at dealers.

This is the update I got from Kia on December 6th...….

Closer to the end of this month we need to really press our KIA dealers for information as that's when it will start pouring in. I bet prior to that are internal company events to brief everyone on the Seltos launch, so some details might come our from now till then!

Seems like we should at least get some pricing soon. Early January maybe?
