When people ask me why I bought a Seltos I tell them it was the only subcompact or compact I could find that would hold all my drums and guitars, THEN I show them pictures, with room to spare!

Nice...yeah the Seltos does have pretty decent cargo capacity.
I do like my old XJ Cherokee better for that though...7 full size 225/75R16 tires with some room to spare (8 if you count the spare...lol)

Cargo space is pretty decent indeed, but I say the car is just a great value for money generally. I bought it for 80% of what I need from it, with the 20% remaining for what I want from it. So far so good on the first bit. The big test will come when I start towing a boat... but I expect that if driven smartly, it will do just fine. With upscale SUV/car theft issues being a big problem these days, no one seems to want my Kia... so my insurance company loves it too. 
Cost of ownership. That's it.
Just happened to look today and over the last 5,000 miles it's averaged 33mpg. I just crossed over the 150,000 mile mark and have only done basic (not on time) maintenance. Random oil changes (somewhere between 3,000 and 12,000), brakes 1.5 times, I'm on my second set of tires (need new fronts before winter, Bought with 32,000 miles), changed all the fluids except brake and coolant (have brake here waiting to go in), 1 engine air filter, 4 cabin filters, spark plugs (need to do again), NEED to pull the intake manifold and do a cleaning (have gaskets just haven't set aside the time to do it), just had to toss a battery in it.
Thing has been nothing but reliable and I can't have any complaints because of that.

I've pulled multiple stuck/disabled vehicles with mine out of ditches and out of harms way, all over 3,000 lbs. Not a single issue. I've impressed everyone doing it. Last winter pulled a grand cherokee out of the ditch and he'd slid off a ways. Took me 2 straps to reach him (40ish feet). Got him out just fine. Random lady in a truck pulled over and watched in dismay. LOL

So real. I used my Seltos to carry four different pieces of new—unassembled—IKEA furniture back home from a warehouse. Fit all of it in the back with some room to spare! Also took mine off-roading last Saturday, on both smooth dirt roads and rocky trails with lots of gravel and bumps. The tough Kumho tires ate it up with no holes or pressure loss and although I felt like I harmed the suspension on multiple occasions, the car still drives perfectly fine as if I never took it off the pavement. Verified after an hour long freeway drive home that day. Love this car!
