I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW & UNDERSTAND HOW TO CONNECT MY ANDROID SMART PHONE TO THE CAR ANDROID AUTO VIA WIRELESS OPTION. I CAN CONNECT VIA THE USB BUT WOULD LIKE TO CONNECT WITH BLUETOOTH OR RADIO WIFI. BUT WOULD DOES KIA SELTOS 1.4 GT DCT SUPPORT IT?

Amber.....I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing, but when I checked out a Kia Venue recently, which should be similar, I had to use a cable to get things on my phone to show on the screen.
I can't remember if I got it to work through bluetooth, but I don't think it did as far as making the car screen link with it. As in my current car which doesn't have Android Auto, the audio will go through the speakers.....no cable needed.
I did think it was cool to get google maps up on the screen in the Venue which to me negates any need for getting navigation options.

If I remember correctly, the CarPlay and AndroidAuto require the USB cable because your phone is mirrored on the entertainment system display. Connecting via WiFi you are essentially using the entertainment system as a set of speakers with limited controls.

Let me know if you figure this out as I am an Apple user so Android is newer to me.

There are some folks on XDA who are working on a dongle that will allow for wireless Android Auto.

It'll go to kickstarter once they have their software figured out.

Others in the thread are using old Android devices to create ad hoc wireless network in the car and connect that way. I'm waiting for the kickstarter.

I've looked at this in detail (I'm an experienced IT/Cybersecurity technologist). It appears my Seltos radio-head only supports Wired Projection for Android Auto not Wireless projection. This means while calls and audio apps can stream over Bluetooth - map projection requires a wire. There has been some success using 3rd party devices that plug in where the cord would plug in - and allow wireless between the device and the phone - making the system have that feature. This is not at the point I can recommend it to those who do not hack things for fun. It may be unnecessary frustration. Wishing to plug in both a Thumb Drive and my Google Pixel 3a phone - I will check to see if any USB3 hub I have at home is compatible and will support both devices at the same time until there is either a upgrade for the radio and/or a 3rd party module that is reliable for projection of Android Auto map.
